HISTORY OF FAFA

(Fafa Ark Foundation)

The idea(of an organization) to support the inhabitants of Tegbi and its environs was long time in existence. NGOs are active in other regions of Ghana to support the needy but Tegbi and its environs has lack their share of the cake!

Tegbi is located in the southern part of of the Volta Region in Ghana.The inhabitants are mostly fishermen/mongers and peasant farmers.

The village is two and half hours drive from Accra(the capital of Ghana) and 45 minutes from the border of Togo.The Tegbi township is situated in between a Lagoon and the Ocean(Atlantic Gulf of Guinea) with lovely people and a rich culture.

Levi Komi Amegah who grew as a child in Tegbi and Andrea Angerer a German and a former colleague at work made this idea a reality
